I have a strange urge to give him a pat on the shoulder and tell him “That’ll do, pig. That’ll do.” 

Campaigning must suck.

I think this shows the stark contrast between the Obama and Romney campaigns. The reason for the delay in conceding was the fact that Romney believed that he would win without a doubt and did not prepare a concession speech beforehand. His website stated him the “president-elect” and his team had fireworks at the ready. However, I believe that Obama had a real concern of losing… his tears show the deep gratitude for the young generation that volunteered to get him to where he is now.

In order for Republicans to win, they need a stronger candidate who understands that minorities, women, and young people matter. (Because of this I suspect they’re planning for Jeb Bush to run in 2016 (and possibly Bobby Jindal as the veep)… just an inkling.)

Note for future Republican candidates: Women don’t belong in binders and have a lot more voting power than you want to admit; rape is rape; and if you tell us that you have a neutral tax policy, you better be able to show us the math—trust but verify, right?
